Escrow Officer/ Branch Manager Position (Full Time)
Local title and escrow company is expanding and is looking for an individual to assist in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Since 1962 Cal-Sierra Title has been a central part of the title and escrow industry in Plumas County. We are looking for ambitious, passionate, and fun individuals to join our team.
Looking for a professional, reliable, driven, and organized person who is looking to continue a position in the title/escrow profession. The right individual will be provided with opportunities for growth and additional responsibilities over time.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Obtains demands/releases to clear title
- Takes terms and information needed to process escrow
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary information and escrow transactions
- Understands and complies with escrow accounting procedures
- Attends client and business development functions. Represents company in public, customer and community relations activities. Attends client luncheons, dinners, realty board meetings, and makes speeches and presents prepared educational programs to client and other interested groups
- Ability to fully audit and disburse closings
- Collaborate with Real Estate Agents, Lenders and Consumers to obtain pertinent facts, direct the preparation of escrow instructions, and assist their lenders and/or agents in the consummation of the transaction
- Audits and closes file when all funds and documents are received
- Ensure a high-quality customer and agent experience throughout the real estate closing process, building meaningful relationships with agents and clients
- Handles the most urgent client escalations with professionalism and speed

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities/workload
- Escrow officer experience for 2 years required
- Notary Public mandatory
Wages & Benefits:
Salary is $22.00-$27.00 per hour depending on experience. After the introductory period, full-time employees are provided with insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays. Work hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
