Labor Compliance (Prevailing Wage)

Classification : Full-time, salaried
The Labor Compliance (Prevailing Wage) will be responsible for all activities pertinent to labor compliance operations at Cal Solar, Inc. Success in this role comes from effectively coordinating with the Contracts and Construction teams, for both new and current project statuses, to assist with labor force management surrounding prevailing wage projects. Our ideal candidate will be a master multi-tasker that is highly organized and detail oriented. We are looking for an individual that excels in a fast paced and ever-changing environment. This position is onsite at our San Diego office.
Job Responsibilities
- Prevailing Wage Rates & Determinations.
- Certified Payroll preparation, review and submission.
- State and Federal Labor Laws.
- Fringe Benefit management for both union and non-union employees.
- Supplemental and Retroactive pay calculations.
- Personnel file maintenance for all dispatched apprentices.
- A strong ability to provide policy interpretation in accordance with Federal and State Labor Laws, PLA / PSA agreements, etc.
- One-time Forms, DAS documents, LCP Tracker, DIR reporting.
- Payroll system rate management for all Prevailing Wage projects in-progress, includes updates yearly for all changes per trade and jurisdiction.
- To include all one-time forms, pre-job conference meetings, weekly CPR submissions, mandatory monthly reporting, apprentice management and ration tracking (call-outs, on-boarding and pay checks), and subcontractor labor compliance tracking.
- Ability to manage employee core assignments with PLA / PSA projects, including applicable union reporting.
- Violation Identification and Compliance Resolution.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $80K - $90K. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as : location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
