Detailed Job Responsibilities
- Examines, diagnoses, and treats abnormalities in development of jaws, position of teeth, and other dental-facial structures
- Provides high-quality endodontic care, including treating diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting health and function of teeth
- Examines patients to determine endodontic and oral health needs, utilizing x-rays and other diagnostic equipment and procedures
- Diagnoses and provides treatment counseling to patients in a comprehensive manner
- Educates patients on the benefits of proper oral and dental hygiene
- Assists with leading and supervising office team members
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree
- Current dental license in the state of hire
- Must have a current certification specialty in endodontics
- Ability to travel overnight to training sessions once a month during the first year of employment
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience (plus)
