Calabro Cheese Corporation is seeking skilled and reliable Truck Drivers to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license type B (CDL B) and experience operating refrigerated box trucks is a plus but not required.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Long-distance driving and sitting.
- Safely and efficiently operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials.
- Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Verify loads and paperwork for accuracy.
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report any maintenance or repair needs ensuring that any mechanical issues with the vehicle have been corrected before driving.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with your supervisor on a timely basis including dispatchers, customers, and team members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
