Caladwich Consulting is seeking an Electronic Repair Technician II to work alongside the Electronic Repair Technician IV performing troubleshooting and repairs of components, also assisting with stock replenishment and warranty support as needed. This Electronics Technician will effectively troubleshoot, document, and report the cost repair breakdown accurately so the Procurement Specialist and Depot Manager can make the decision that’s of best value for the Program Office.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide warehouse, integration, test, deployment, and inspection functions for all equipment items processed.
- Assist in the data entry and verification of all assets in the warehouse into new web-based Inventory Management Systems (IMS)
- Provide support in the complete Stock Replenishment and Repair of all ASTI components.
- Conduct thorough inspection of all listed components to determine what may be broken, damaged, or malfunctioning and record those results on an opened maintenance work order.
- Assist the Depot Manager with the accurate reflection of current on-hand items, past demand, expected receipts, and current obligations of materiel requirements for future delivery.
- Assist in Component Repair of Telecommunications systems, cabling, and other related system equipment.
- Maintain sufficient stock levels to process requisitions within specified turn-around times supported by expedited shipping, if necessary, including procurement of items to adjust levels as required.
- Maintain accurate record of the Disposal of unused, obsolete, or broken assets.
Qualifications / Required Experience:
- Experience with/supporting Federal Government preferred
- Ability to maintain consistent performance in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good working relations with diverse groups.
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Excel and MS Teams, alongside proficiency in various MS Office applications including Excel.
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineer or others related to a Communications discipline.
- Three plus (3 ) years of relative Telecommunications Maintenance Experience
