Business analyst with Healthcare industry.
Location: Remote (working in Eastern time)
Local to Pittsburg or candidates located in the Tri-state area.
* Business trips to Pittsburgh are required
* Work time zone is Eastern time
Requirement:
* Broader experience in leveraging digital/data solutions in healthcare, particularly within hospital environments.
* Strong consulting and communication skills are essential for gathering and consolidating requirements, as the client is composed of five hospitals, each operating on different systems, necessitating collaboration with various stakeholders.
In-depth understanding of hospital operations, including patient admission and discharge processes, clinical workflows, billing systems, and coordination between departments (e.g., emergency, inpatient, outpatient).
Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments and understand various stakeholders' perspectives (e.g., doctors, administrators, patients).
Expertise in healthcare systems and business processes within hospital environments. Knowledge of CMS rules, HIPAA compliance, and emerging healthcare regulations. Familiarity with insurance reimbursement processes (Medicare/Medicaid) and financial flows in healthcare settings, as well as knowledge of VBHC (Value-Based Healthcare)
Strong ability/ communication skill to identify and understand client problems through interviews, observations, and workshops.
Capability of translating client needs into actionable requirements and solution proposals that align with business goals.
Strong documentation skill is required to align with management and convey the solution design to tech team.
Define and align business and functional requirements with scalable solution designs. Proactively suggest improvements to workflows, enhancing efficiency and outcomes.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and technical feasibility. Experience with healthcare IT and analytics tools (e.g., EHR, BI tools).Design dashboard requirements to support data-driven decision-making.
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends for strategic recommendations.(Possibly to support for market research for considering the strategy as client is planning to expand the developed solutions to commercialization.)
Benchmark industry best practices for solution development and positioning.
Manage multiple PoC activities, including scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and task execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
Develop clear presentations and reports to communicate findings, strategies, and recommendations effectively.
Engage effectively with diverse audiences, including executives, clinicians, and technical teams.
Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis within healthcare settings or similar industries.
Proven track record of engagement and solution design in healthcare or hospital contexts.
Ability to work in US Eastern Time and visit the client site (@Pittsburgh/ 1 week per 2-3 months is diserable for site visit).
Experience in consulting firms and IT integrator solving healthcare industry challenges or managing healthcare projects.
Collaborative work with hospitals, data analysts, physicians, and IT teams
