Position:Industrial Network Engineer

Location:HYBRID - Georgetown, KY 40324
Rate:$45.00 per hour (W2 Only)
HYBRID: Will work ONSITE Tue, Wed and Thur each week / REMOTE Mon/Fri.

Consultant will report to Networking Manager, responsible for implementation of production networking systems, collaborating across multiple groups to meet model project milestones - while maintaining current production model, and developing technical expertise to continuously improve our team s capabilities.
Responsibilities Include:
Leading production networking systems (Andon, PIF, and IoE) implementation at North America Body Weld shops.
Scheduling, budgeting and executing implementations at North American Manufacturing Centers (NAMC)
Collaborating with multiple internal teams and external vendors to meet business need.
Programming PLC s (Programmable Logic Controllers) (Toyopuc and Omron)
Setup, configuration and long term support of servers, including the following applications Kepware and GE Cimplicity
Collaboration with internal Innovation Teams to support internal project initiatives.
Staying up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements in production networking systems
Authoring standards, policies and procedures, technical memos, and manuals.
Collaborating cross-functionally throughout the NAMCs and external partners to solve problems and accomplish goals.
Showcasing the team s efforts and accomplishments through presentations to peers and executive management.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
** Experience with PLC programming is required, unless your have coding experience **
Experience as a Network Engineer, deploying industrial network-connected devices, and ensuring smooth integration with manufacturing processes.
Experience with Project management, managing project schedules, budgets and implementations
Experience setting up and configuring application servers, SQL database operations, and working with PLC programming
Experience with programming in PLC's using Toyopuc and Omron for applications
Experience setting up, configuring support of servers for Kepware, and GE Cimplicity applications.
Relevant Manufacturing work experience
Excellent Oral communications skills
Education: Bachelor s Degree (or higher) in Industrial Engineering, Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Other Requirements:
30% TRAVEL in the US and Canada and Mexico (has a US Passport with no travel restrictions)
20% OVER-TIME, able to work weekends, shutdowns and holidays as needed
DESIRED SKILLS:
Body Weld experience
Omron PLC programming experience
Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages (e.g. Python, VB.NET, BCL, SQL)
Knowledgeable with data analytics software (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
Experience with Robotics and industrial controls
