IT Project Manager
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Describe the primary purpose or scope of the job. What must be accomplished and why is it performed.
The Project Manager has responsibility for delivering medium to high complexity projects in line with the specific delivery frameworks including Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies.
Medium to high complexity projects will usually have:
Single customer
Multiple delivery teams
Multiple vendors
Single portfolio
Moderate project budget
The main scope of work for the Project Manager is to manage and support the Project Leadership Team (PLT) to a successful delivery of the agreed project scope. This includes driving the project and tracking progress via multiple processes including:
Creation of and tracking against schedule
Managing risks and issues
Managing creation and tracking of budget
Communicating effectively to IT and business leadership
Appropriate escalation of issues with PLT and leadership
Creation of all applicable project artifacts
Managing geographically diverse teams
Taking over an in flight high visibility project.
Highly complex project with contact centers and consolidation of contact centers.

Geographically diverse team (east to west, international (Mexico and India))
3 years of complex project management experience (no MS Project required)
Will use mostly Excel
Must be in Denver to be able to meet with vendors, team and provide CIO communication
Nothing currently in the forecast for travel, but just in case less than 5%

3 years of project management experience
Experience using Microsoft suite of tools including MS Project
Experience using PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) tool
Project Management Professional Accreditation
Travel: Variable but usually minimal (determined by project needs to be in a specific location for successful delivery)
Nights/Weekends: Variable but usually minimal (determined by project needs for go-live outside of core business hours)
