Position:Sr. Design Director (Construction Architecture & Interiors)

Location:ONSITE - Georgetown, KY or Plano TX
Pay Rate:$70.00 per hour (W2 Only)
This role can be performed in either Georgetown, KY or Plano TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES)
Project Planning Group is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Architectural Project Manager. They will oversee planning and development of a wide range of projects across the North American building portfolio. This can range from small renovation projects to substantial new campus expansions or buildings. This includes reporting to the Architectural Planning Manager, the person in this role will program, plan and set design direction for projects to be implemented. Our planning process includes collaborating with outside AE partners as well as working internally to develop cost estimates and schedules.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop projects for new construction and renovation projects across North America
Direct outside design firms to support your work in compliance with codes and internal standards
Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate and project schedules
Lead broad base of internal stakeholders with your customer for comprehensive project planning development
25: Travel: Travel to U.S., Canada, Mexico and Japan.
10% Overtime: Occasionally/commonly work overtime, including weekends and holidays
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
10 years experience in architectural position with strong interior experience (Senior Architect with Interior Focus)
Strong portfolio of design work demonstrating project range, design skills and your individual contribution to the work shown
LICENSED ARCHITECT in any State (REQUIRED)
Demonstration of STRONG DESIGN AND PLANNING as well as knowledge of current design trends
Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience leading teams and strong knowledge of CONSTRUCTION delivery methods and planning
Experience using PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint, MS Project, AutoDesk, Adobe, OneNote and BlueBeam Revu
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and graphic
Ability to travel 25% Domestically/Internationally, needs a valid US Passport with NO travel restrictions
Education: Professional Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture
