Salary Range : $22 / hour (based on experience)

Job Overview :

CalArk International is seeking to add a Systems Support Technician to our Information Technology department. This is a full-time position with typical hours of Monday-Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. Some overtime may be required and after hours on-call will be required approximately one week every month.

This is a 100% on-site (non-remote) position in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Essential Functions :

  • Support of all software systems, services, and users as needed to support the business.
  • Provides product / software support for logistics solutions : TMS (Trimble Innovative), Omnitracs Roadnet, Trimble TMT, Transflo DMS, Geotab, and others.
  • Provides hardware and software support for mobile devices and management of MDM (SOTI)
  • Perform data entry for manual database record corrections
  • Performs IT related administrative tasks such inventory audits, creating documentation, etc.
  • Assists with AS400 administrative tasks such as user setup, user security and access settings, tape backups, etc.
  • Assist with software testing and upgrades.

  • Ability to complete projects unassisted with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to move about inside the office to access office machinery, ascend / descend on stairs and ladders or to stoop, crouch, or kneel to work on equipment.
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office; Outlook, Excel, and Word. Must demonstrate the ability to learn and comprehend new software that may be used daily.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment i.e. computer, telephone, printers, etc.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Information Systems, Information Technology or similar field) or a minimum 3-5 years equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, interpret, and verify data from multiple formats.
  • Experience with AS400 / iSeries and / or experience with logistics-based software is preferred but not required.
  • SQL and python knowledge is preferred but not required.
