General Position Summary:

The Continuous Improvement Coodinator is responsible for driving and embedding a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. This role identifies, plans, and implements improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in process improvement or operational excellence.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred).
  • Certified Change Management Professional (preferred).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics software like RedZone.
  • General office equipment, including computers and project management tools.

Essential Functions:

  • Leadership Development: Mentor, train, and empower team members in continuous improvement principles and methodologies. Promote the company’s core values, strategies, and improvement objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to optimize operations and workflows.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure that improvement initiatives align with the organization's strategic goals and customer requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify areas of improvement and track the impact of implemented changes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments to identify shared goals and streamline processes across the organization.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement strategies to support the adoption of new processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee multiple improvement projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and measurable results.
  • Innovation Leadership: Cultivate a forward-thinking environment that anticipates changes and drives innovative solutions through CI activities.
  • Resource Management: Optimize the allocation of resources (time, personnel, tools) to achieve continuous improvement goals.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Document and share best practices, lessons learned, and improvement tools across the organization.
  • Team Building: Foster collaboration and a sense of ownership within improvement teams.
  • Problem-Solving Expertise: Lead teams in analyzing root causes and developing sustainable solutions.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and food safety standards throughout improvement initiatives.
  • Standardization: Establish and maintain standardized processes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and address risks associated with operational inefficiencies or process changes.
  • Training Programs: Develop and deliver training to employees on continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Cross functional support coverage when needed.
  • Uphold high ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Always ensure a clean and safe working area.
