Position Summary & Purpose
Perform all basic production requirements as directed by plant manager or shift lead for carrying out a safe and efficient operation.
The numerous duties involved include, at a minimum, the following: Operating machinery, inspection and maintenance on all machinery, preparing product for loading and delivering; cleaning and performing basic maintenance on all equipment and tools.
Responsibilities and Tasks
• Safely complete all production tasks
• Operate machinery including loaders and forklifts
• Inspect and maintain machinery such as screens, mills and load outs
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace
• Fulfilling all delivery orders in a safe and timely manner
• Offering customer service whenever required
Requirements
Education and Experience
• Day Shift Hours are from 5am - 5pm; Night Shift 5pm-5am
• Must be able to stand for a majority of the shift
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Capacity to operate light and heavy machinery
• 2 years working in production environment (preferred)
• Pre-employment physical
• Drug and alcohol testing
• Background check
