Calculated Solutions Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join one of the top cabinet makers in Tuscaloosa. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with the ability to create high-quality cabinets. This role requires proficiency in using various hand tools and machinery, as well as a strong understanding of cabinet installation and remodeling processes. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with clients to bring their visions to life while ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of quality.

Duties

• Construct, assemble, and install cabinets according to specifications and design plans.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on design options.
• Perform cabinet installation in residential and commercial settings, ensuring proper fit and finish.
• Assist in remodeling projects by integrating new cabinetry with existing structures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction or installation process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and materials to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in woodworking or carpentry.
• Proficiency with hand tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and other woodworking equipment.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus.
• Knowledge of drywall installation, tile laying, mold remediation, construction painting, masonry, and roofing is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise measurements and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina; must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• A commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
