Job Summary
Calculated Solutions Group seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and enhance the operational processes within the organization for one of our top clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a solid background in the electrical field. This role requires a strategic thinker who can coordinate various aspects of project execution while ensuring compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations.
This position will require a lot of travel including visiting jobs sites as well as coming to the corporate office in Birmingham, AL.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee system design and ensure that all electrical components meet necessary specifications and codes.
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with NEC standards while maintaining quality control throughout the construction process.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a project manager with an electrical contractor
- Proven experience working as a journeyman level or higher electrician with commercial experience
- Experience managing multiple job sites at once.
- Familiarity with system design principles and NEC regulations is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team coordination and motivation.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel 75% of the time
