The Painter position at our company requires expertise in residential and commercial painting, as well as proficiency in using hand tools. Relevant skills in construction site work, blueprint reading, plastering, and renovation are beneficial. The role involves tasks such as construction painting, plastering, and restoration. Experience with basic math, carpentry, drywall, caulking, and trim carpentry is advantageous for success in this position but not required.
_ Job Duties: _
- Prepare surfaces for painting
- Apply primer and paint to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective gear when necessary
Skills:
- Restoration: Knowledge of techniques to restore damaged or deteriorated surfaces
- Maintenance: Ability to maintain painted surfaces and touch up as needed
- Concrete Finishing: Experience in applying paint or coatings to concrete surfaces
- Fixture Installation: Proficiency in installing fixtures, such as light switches or outlet covers, without damaging painted surfaces
- Blueprint Reading: Skill in interpreting blueprints or plans to determine painting requirements
- Hand Tools: Familiarity with various hand tools used in painting, such as brushes, rollers, and scrapers
- Plaster: Knowledge of plastering techniques for repairing walls or ceilings
