We are looking for experienced litigation paralegals and/or a litigation assistant to join our team. Working closely with the lawyers, you will be responsible for all paralegal responsibilities associated with assigned cases from beginning to end. The successful candidates will enjoy their job and do it with passion; contribute to the team culture; take initiative; be organized; perform state and federal e-filings; and be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, legal timekeeping, and eDiscovery and trial graphics platforms (Relativity, Disco, OnCue, Trial Director, TrialPad) (or have a good aptitude for learning technology).
Responsibilities
- Case management (discovery, productions, calendaring, filings, court/client/witness information)
- Client and court communications
- Document review and production
- Assist attorneys with pleading preparation and filing
- Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediation and trials
- Trial support

Skills
- Paralegal Certificate or Paralegal Associates Degree
- 5 years civil litigation paralegal/legal secretary experience
- Applicable knowledge of Court Rules and Civil Procedure Rules procedures, and litigation standards of procedure
- Strong organizational and administrative skills; attention to detail.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, eDiscovery and trial graphics platforms (i.e. Word, Excel, Adobe, Relativity, Disco, OnCue, Trial Director, TrialPad, Smokeball and/or Clio). Must have a good aptitude for technology
- Highly motivated professional who has initiative, can work independently and thrives within a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
