What you will do:
- The Social Services Assistant assists the Social Services Director in providing services to meet the social and emotional needs of the residents/patients.
- Develops a rapport with the residents/patients and presents their concerns to center management.
- Charts as assigned
- Assists with Resident Council
- Assists the Social Services Director with discharge planning for residents
- Follows all center's policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to speak, understand, write and read in English
- Previous experience in a long term care setting PREFERRED
