Position Title : Resident Support Specialist

Qualifications
Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
License / Certification :
Valid Driver's License required
Current CPR certification.
Experience :
Six months experience in long term care environment preferred
Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
Essential functions :
Responsible for securing residents in facility vehicle and transporting them to / from medical appointments safely.
Accompanies activities director on community outings, as needed.
Completes weekly transport vehicle safety checklist.
Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of transport vehicle.
Coordinates outside medical appointments and referrals.
Collects and fills supply requisitions and delivers to the unit / floor.
Order supplies from designated vendors.
Maintains accurate inventory records of supplies in the facility.
Regularly checks inventory levels and restocks nursing stations, medication room, and supply closets.
Assist social services with tasks as necessary, room changes, grievance resolution, and more.
Other Functions :
Performs other duties as assigned.
Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
Ability to read and comprehend at levels necessary to perform job duties appropriately.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff members and vendors.

Requirements
