Food Service Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team this year at the Tennessee Renaissance Festival. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting in the preparation and serving of food. You will ensure that all food handling and sanitation guidelines are followed to maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.

Duties

• Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of food service areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of food served.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Perform basic math calculations for portioning and inventory management as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory effectively.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per day
