Clinic Quality Coordinator-Full-Time

JOB TITLE:                   Clinic Quality Coordinator

DEPARTMENT:             CMA

REPORTS TO:               Director of Clinic Operations

Summary for Position:

The main purpose of the clinic Quality Coordinator is to improve CAHPS Score through quality performance improvement.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTAIL FUNCTIONS:

• Improvement of patient experience and HCAHPS Scores
• Plans, implements, and monitors quality improvement to meet the clinic’s needs.
• Coordination of process improvement activities within the clinics
• Develop and lead continuous performance improvement process
• Monitor ongoing chart reviews for analysis of medical care quality
• Acts as liaison with external agencies that request PI data [CMS, Joint, KRHA, KHIE, Stars Quality Reports, Inovalon,etc.]
• Attend, facilitate, and report to various committees
• Works within the facility to maintain surgery readiness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Prefer 6 to 12 months of related experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills.

EXPECTATIONS

• Proficiency in this position should be reached in 6-8 months. 
• Must maintain CEUs as established by the KBN. 
• Must be willing to take specialty classes and other educational offerings as indicated.  
• Must demonstrate the ability to interact with other personnel in a positive fashion. 
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and to delegate appropriate tasks to others. 
• Must maintain certification in BLS.
• Full knowledge of Microsoft Office & Internet
