Accounting Clerk
The Accounting Clerk position is a key support position for the Finance team. This position will be responsible for data entry tasks for several areas of the Finance team including but not limited to: Account Services, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory invoice processing, and Revenue transactions processing. This position demands high attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis. The ideal candidate is very organized, driven, and able to work both independently and coordinate with several members of the Finance Team, as well as interact with other departments within the Company.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry
- Assist with the receipt and invoicing of parts and equipment, ensuring accuracy and timely processing to support inventory and procurement functions.
- Work closely with the Account Services team to help process transactions including but not limited to: machine locations, sales order processing, card inventory, customer contracts, invoice reporting, and research related projects
- Assist Fixed Assets Manager with completing and posting sales orders, receiving installation files, setting up new service items/ fixed assets, and following up for any missing information needed to process records
- Work with Senior Revenue Analyst to help process transactions including: posting, mailing, and emailing bill minimum invoices, pulling machine counts from Insights program for approximately 125 locations, and emailing monthly statements as requested
- Assist with Accounts Receivable tasks, including: sending service invoices, scanning check stubs, sending monthly invoices, and sorting paid invoice files
- Assist with Accounts Payable tasks, including: invoice entry and processing, preparing checks for mailing, and sorting and distributing incoming mail
- Uphold financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls, safeguarding the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Secure confidential financial information, ensuring it is properly stored and accessible only to authorized personnel, in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Actively contributes to team success by delivering relevant results and stepping in to support colleagues and projects as needed, ensuring overall objectives are achieved efficiently.

What We are Looking For:
- High school diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred but not required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in administrative writing, data entry, organization, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
- Self-motivated and driven with a proactive approach to work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Basic knowledge of general ledger systems.
- Experience with Microsoft NAV or similar business systems is a significant advantage.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, word processing, and email.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
