Position Description
In your role as the Parts Specialist, you're tasked with taking ownership and actively seeking solutions by delivering professional customer care to our service technician team. This involves conducting thorough parts research, processing orders, and ensuring timely fulfillment. The ideal candidate will prioritize attention to detail and recognize the importance of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Parts Management: Receive and process incoming parts orders from service technicians and other internal departments, ensuring efficient processing. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and resolve any issues with orders. Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Research and Identification: Efficiently conduct research, identification, and location of parts by leveraging vendor sites and other accessible resources. Utilize technical documentation and diagrams to precisely identify the required components.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overages. Perform regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with records. Critical to our performance!
- Vendor Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors. Ability to communicate effectively to resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or discrepancies. They are also our customers!
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on such events as part transfers, ordering and inventory levels. As well as provide reports, as requested, on these events to various department leaders. Maintaining accurate records is a huge win!
- Training and Support: As we grow there will be times when you will need to assist in training newly hired team members in the correct procedures to order parts and related inquiries. As well as provide ongoing support and assistance on parts and part orders. This will help in preventing errors and delays!
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with team members and vendors effectively.
- Attention to detail is a necessary skill.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve such issues as parts orders and inventory discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Appliance repair skills are a plus.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull or move parts weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Familiarity with computerized inventory management systems and software a plus.
- Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
