Job Title: Service Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Largest privately owned commercial laundry vendor in the Mid-Atlantic region. We have been serving our communities for 77 years. The company is family owned and operated still to this day. We operate central laundry facilities in apartment buildings, colleges and military bases in NJ, PA, DE, MD, NY, VA, and D.C.
We are seeking a Service Manager to join the team. The Service Manager is responsible for maintaining high service levels, ensure staffing, training and scheduling of Special Technicians, Service Supervisors and Technicians to address service-related items.
Mechanically inclined and knowledge of electronics. Individual must be highly organized, ability to multi-task, detail oriented, excellent communication skills, and customer service skills.
Appliance experience preferred.
- Provide general technical knowledge to Technicians and facility representatives, as needed.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Respond to phone calls and emails in a timely manner with escalations on priority.
- Schedule in advance Special Technicians on assignments, vent cleanings, add value installations, machine cleanings, etc.
- Develop rapport with on-site contacts to ensure they are receiving the highest level of support and service.
- Review “out for parts” listing on a daily basis and make sure Technicians are completing calls in a timely manner.
- Manage and support customer service department.
- Provide reports, as requested.
- Must be proficient with computers and be willing and able to learn office programs.
- Other duties, as required.
Education: Minimum of High School Degree or comparable / Additional schooling beneficial to application process.
Minimum 3 years supervisory and/or management experience
