CAPS Care is Hiring!
Caledonia Area Public Schools child care center, CAPS Care is looking for a float assistant teacher, or an aide to help in the infant and toddler classrooms. All positions must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment. Discount on child care for CAPS Care staff members. Benefits if working more than 30 hours per week. Benefits include health, life, and long-term disability.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Start Date: Monday, February 17th
Assistant Teacher requirements:
- Must meet the requirements below OR be willing to work toward required credits.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma required, 2,080 hours as an aide or student intern, and 12 quarter hours of Child Development classes.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a childcare setting, preferred.
- Hourly pay range: $15.03-$18.79 depending on experience.
Aide requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Hourly pay range: $15.41-$19.06 depending on experience.
