Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excell)
- Experience with accounts receivable management and collections
- Knowledge of GAP compliance requirements
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Familiarity with financial auditing processes and procedures
- Previous experience in private non-profit accounting is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
