What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Engineer position at CalFrac Well Services?
Calfrac Well Services Corp. seeks Field Engineer to work in Grand Junction, CO. Provides technical support to customers on job site; review job program proposals to understand treatment specifications; present job design proposals, specifications, and procedures to customer on job site.
Requirements include bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or related field and working knowledge of basic hydraulic fracturing formulas, fluid systems, geophysics, petroleum geology, formation evaluation, drilling, reservoir simulation/engineering, production engineering.
Must be proficient in Ignition, Meyers, Mwell, Mview & MRL software and familiar with the operation of chemical, data & QC vans, acid transport & Pumper, Fluid blender, frac pump, hydration unit & sand delivery systems. Up to 90% travel to field sites. Salary: $130,250.
