Position : Engineering Intern – Neville Island PlantLocation : Neville Island Plant – Pittsburgh, PA

Overview
Our internship program provides real-world experience enabling future professionals the ability to apply what they are learning in school, to applicable situations in a career field they are pursuing. This internship program helps interns gain additional skills that can be applied to future jobs.
The Neville Island Plant is in the process of completing several on-going engineering projects. The projects will provide a well-rounded view of plant operations. The Engineering Intern will be working closely with the site Process Engineer and Operations Manager onprojects focusing on process optimization. The Engineering Intern will work closely with the site Maintenance Manager on projects that will focus on mechanical reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to) :
- Campaign Analysis
- Trial planning / analysis / reporting
- Gathering data and proposing solutions to improve process performance
- Root cause analysis on equipment failures
- Reliability training for the maintenance techs
- Day to Day operations planning
- Introduction to the plant production processes and the required maintenance
