Position: Inside Sales Representative I
Location: Headquarters – Moon Township, PA

The Inside Sales Representative will handle small accounts (primarily carbon and service, potentially small equipment) with annual values of $100,000 or less, across the US and Canada, for the municipal segment of the DWS business line. The Inside Sales Representative will also support all DWS TSRs in terms of preparing quotes and proposals, especially budgetary quotes, and quotes for small orders (e.g. spare parts) related to larger accounts. The Inside Sales Representative will follow up on leads assigned from Marketing via Water Online and other lead generating activities, as well as the 1-800 number.
The Inside Sales Representative has a thorough understanding of Calgon Carbon’s products and services, carbon adsorption, applications of carbon, and carbon acceptance process.
The Inside Sales Representative will answer technical questions from customers, prospects, and consultants with outside support from Application Engineers, Field Services, or Product Managers and recommends specific products and services as solutions to purification challenges.
The Inside Sales Representative may also assist with the coordination of certain bids and assist with certain marketing activities, such as trade show coordination and call out campaigns.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Internal Lead Qualifier for Outside Sales, including Water Online leads, 1-800 number calls, and leads from other sources.
- Prepare quotes in support of TSRs
- Handles Small Municipal sales, <$100k customer size
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required
- 0-2 years Technical Sales Experience is required
- Sales or Calgon Carbon Technical Experience is preferred
