Responsible for the operation of the GE/Concept Laser MLab, instructional laboratories, and 3D printing Additive Manufacturing test specimens.

Salary: Dependent upon grant guidelines.
- Responsible for the operation of the GE/Concept Laser MLab.
- Properly handle materials, machine setup and operation, build extraction, clean up, and inventory of all consumables.
- Maintain records and documentation.
- Prepare requested CAD files for printing, create build files for the MLab, and apply the specified parameters.
- Fulfill UAH graduate student work orders to build specifications.
- Document the outcome of the build upon completion including issues encountered or deviations from the work order.
- Perform other appropriate duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- Successfully passed the ADM 164 with a grade of “C” or higher
- Ability to properly run an MLab system without assistance.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, interpersonal, and problem solving.
- Skills and Knowledge of current Metal Additive manufacturing process.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate work with colleagues and peers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work directly as a team in a lab setting.
- Certifications or accomplishments in the field of laboratory medicine.
- Sensitivity and commitment to cultural diversity.
- Willingness to learn and work with other occupational areas as required.
- Ability to write job /build reports
- Ability to use safe procedure while operating Calhoun Additive Manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to maintain a clean lab.
- An understanding of the role and philosophy of the community college system.
