We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Scheduler to join our team. The Construction Scheduler will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction scheduling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various leaders to streamline project timelines.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain comprehensive construction schedules, incorporating all project activities, milestones, and deadlines
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other leaders to gather project details and requirements for accurate scheduling
- Utilize project management software to create, update, and monitor project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions to maintain project timelines and budget constraints
- Regularly communicate with project teams to provide updates on project schedules, milestones, and any potential delays
- Analyze and evaluate project schedules to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
- Monitor and track project progress against schedules, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Generate and distribute regular reports on project scheduling status, highlighting key milestones and potential risks
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure their activities align with the overall project schedule
- Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in construction scheduling techniques
Qualifications :
- Three or more years in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Construction Scheduler in the construction industry
- Proficient in using project management software and scheduling tools
- Strong understanding of construction process, project management principles, and scheduling methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross functional teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in scheduling and documentation
- Familiarity with construction contracts and regulations
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree (BA / BS / BEng / BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study
- Minimum 3 years of related experience and / or training
- LEED AP preferred, but not required
- Manage owner and a / e relationships
- Demonstrates capability to read, understand, and apply standard to moderate complex documents affecting projects, including but not limited to : agreements / contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys and drawings
- Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level;
knowledge of Viewpoint is a plus
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks.
- Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
- Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Proven positive and professional attitude and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills; both internal and external
