Position Overview :
Immediate openings for Drywall Finishers / Hangers / Framers / Ceiling Grid- Responsible for installing metal framing and hanging drywall on walls, ceilings and soffits of commercial projects.
Competitive wages will vary on position and experience.
Qualifications :
- A Drywall Framer / Hanger should have a high school education or a GED as a minimum.
- Must have reliable transportation and tools of the trade.
Tasks :
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Install interior metal studs
- Install exterior metal studs
- Hang drywall
- Finish Drywall
- Ceiling grid
- Install ceiling wires and grid
- Install acoustical ceiling panels
- Installation of specialty ceilings clouds, axiom trim, wood ceilings, linear metal ceilings
- Set and plumb welded metal doors frames
- Operate scissor lifts
- Operate aerial (boom) lifts
- Erect scaffolding
- Perform daily cleanup of work areas
