ROLE AND PURPOSE
Ensure safety and a positive environment for students who use district transportation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Certification/Education:
High School diploma or GED
Valid Texas drivers’ license
Certification as a school bus driver, Per CCISD DBB, Legal
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to work well with children
- Positive results on the bus driver’s physical examination
- Negative results on periodic random or scheduled drug tests
- Ability to follow verbal or written instructions
- Knowledge to communicate effectively (verbally)
Minimum Experience:
Three references that have been checked and verified.
