Under the direct supervision of the Community Corrections Manager, this position performs a variety of case management duties including supervision, referrals for services, preparation of reports and program data maintenance. Position requires a high level of confidentiality.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Supervises individuals released to Community Corrections supervision, ensuring compliance with court orders and program requirements. Supervision may include administering substance abuse testing. Maintains program database and prepares program reports. Communicates both verbally and in writing with a variety of criminal justice system representatives; including judges, probation officers, parole agents, law enforcement, service providers, attorneys and the general public. Evaluates program participant needs and makes referrals to community resources and service providers as appropriate, or as required by court order. Assists the Community Corrections Manager as directed in monitoring program design for effectiveness and to meet grant requirements.Testifies in court as necessary.Performs other duties as assigned.

Working ConditionsWork includes occasional exposure to infectious disease as well as the possibility of bodily injury. Occasional travel to other County sites is required.
