Job Qualifications
- Education:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GES)
- Associates Degree in early childhood, preschool education or child development or Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, preferred
- Previous experience in preschool or early childhood program
- Strong communication and instructional skills
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- Ability to work well with children and adults
- Maintain a genuine interest in helping children in their educational and developmental process
- Able to work flexible hours as needed for family involvement activities including conferences, open house, family nights, etc.
- Basic clerical skills and operation knowledge of copy machine and visual aid equipment
