Job Description
Calhoun International is seeking a highly skilled Senior WMD Analyst to support client analytical requirements for the execution of a Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) program. As a key member of our team, you will perform all-source analytic production on WMD, participate in collection activities supporting strategic and tactical intelligence priorities, and provide expert analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support client analytical requirements for the execution of a WMD program, including developing and maintaining comprehensive analytical products.
- Perform all-source analytic production on WMD, including CBRNE analysis, and participate in collection activities supporting strategic and tactical intelligence priorities.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify and assess WMD threats, including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and missile programs.
- Develop and maintain expertise in CBRNE and counterterrorism nexus, and related military activities and operations.
- Support military contingency operations and provide expert analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Master's degree or bachelor's degree and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the master's degree.
- Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and stays current with developments in academia or other fields affecting tradecraft methodology.
- Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address high-level tasks.
- Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries, and clearly articulates key findings.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions.
Preferred Requirements:
- A strong grasp of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or missile programs.
- Defense certified analysts; preferably with military service analyst certifications.
Clearance:
- Active security clearance requirements apply to this position.
- Must be able to pass a counterintelligence polygraph.
