Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, specializing in auto painting. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical knowledge, with experience in auto body repair. This role involves working with various hand tools and equipment to ensure high-quality finishes on vehicles, while also providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as needed.
• Apply paint using spray guns or other tools, ensuring even coverage and adherence to quality standards.
• Perform buffing and polishing to achieve a smooth finish on painted surfaces.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets customer specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to discuss project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist with minor repairs or adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto painting, preferably in a dealership or auto restoration setting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality finishes.
• Familiarity with various hand tools and painting equipment.
• Basic knowledge of auto body repair techniques is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in the field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.94 - $34.93 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 100 per week
