Job Responsibilities
We are currently looking for dedicated, hard working people to join our team as a Landscape Technician. Our ideal candidate will be a team player with remarkable communication skills and naturally motivated to accomplish their best work every day.
Our Landscape Technicians, under the supervision of our Crew Foreman, will uphold our customer service standards while performing landscaping duties such as: planting trees, shrubs and flowers, pruning different species of shrubs and trees, mowing, edging, pulling weeds, blowing grass and leaves, aerating and fertilizing lawns, installing plant material, trash removal, cleaning and de-icing side walks, parking areas and other duties prescribed by the Crew Foreman.
Landscape Technicians should remain up to date and informed of current practices with the use of horticulture supplies such as chemicals and fertilizers. Landscape Technicians will effectively operate various gas-powered equipment used in general landscape maintenance (commercial lawn mowers, back-pack blowers, weed-eaters, pruners, shears, etc). The position involves, but is not limited to, routine maintenance of landscape grounds equipment, operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, backhoe, large trucks, tractors, Bobcat, reel mowers, limb chipper, and other landscape related equipment. We also provide training to safely use all equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands, bend, stoop, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 1-2 years Landscape, Hardscape, and Horticulture experience (Preferred)
Status: US Work Authorization (Preferred)
Education: High School or equivalent (preferred)
License/Certification: Driver’s License with own transportation (Required)
