Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate will work under the direct guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Lead, and the direction of SOP's. The Warehouse Associate will execute day-to-day distribution and fulfillment operations including, but not limited to, pulling orders, staging product for shipment, preparing orders for shipment and consolidating product.
Essential Duties:
- Broad knowledge of RF-Smart WMS or other WMS system and scanning functions.
- Follows the standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Follows warehouse process and procedures
- Pick orders, stage and package orders for shipment and wrap orders for shipment
- Broad knowledge of material handling and order picking processes
- Ensures SAFE and proper operation of all MHE
- Adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations
- Ability to maintain a clean work environment
- Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding or corner boards to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have 6 months of previous Warehouse experience
- Must have 6 months of previous forklift experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack/reach truck/cherry picker
- Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds

Compensation: $17.50 an hour
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Work is performed in a warehouse environment that may not be climate controlled. Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time, walking, squatting, twisting, bending, reaching, and lifting, pushing, and lifting between 10-50lbs regularly. Position also will include operating safety and other equipment regularly. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
