Service Center CSCS TX Overview: The Workday Center of Excellence (WCOE) team is looking for a Workday Payroll Analyst, which is an experienced functional and technical role that is focused on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our Payroll processes. The WCOE Payroll Analyst performs configuration support of the payroll and time tracking workday modules. Job Summary: The Workday Payroll Analyst will be responsible for managing, scaling, broadening, processing, and supporting the Payroll function using Workday and other 3rd party Payroll systems. The WCOE Payroll Analyst performs configuration and technical support of the payroll and time tracking workday modules. This role may also provide break/fix solutions, recommend/implement new functionality and process improvements, and ensure smooth integrations with other 3rd party. The Workday Payroll Analyst will report directly to our Workday Center of Excellence and work closely with our HR shared service. Key Responsibilities: Manage and perform end-to-end Payroll processes using Workday Payroll and other 3rd party Payroll systems (e.g., Xactly, custom Payroll app, etc.). Perform analysis of existing business processes design and identify and evaluate possible re-configuration/ solutions in response to business issues and challenges. Work as a technical liaison between Caliber Payroll team and the Caliber WCOE team to continuously improve payroll processes and work with cross-functional business teams to translate complex business needs to effective design recommendations. Implement new and support existing Payroll-related solutions, projects, and products. Provide functional and technical Payroll-related subject matter expertise and thought leadership. Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and execute testing in support of system and user acceptance testing Thoroughly test new/modified configuration, business processes or reports to ensure results meet end-users needs Support functional and technical processes that calculate Payroll, bonuses, commissions, and any other Payroll-related activities. Manage and perform Payroll-related reports and analytics activities. Ensure Payroll processes execute in a timely and consistent manner. Document existing and new functional and technical specifications, payroll policies, processes, requirements, data flow, etc. Provide direct and indirect support to teammates with Payroll-related issues. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in Payroll procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Payroll-related enhancements. Help Caliber stay ahead of the curve re: opportunities for Payroll-related improvements, innovation, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience to obtain the required knowledge skill for the role. Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist using Workday Payroll required. Workday certification in Payroll; certification in Time Tracking and/or Absence a plus Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. High level of integrity and ethics.
