We are currently seeking an experienced and ARRT certified CT Technologist to join the team. This part-time position offers competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work in multiple clinic locations across Winter Haven, Davenport, and Lake Wales, Florida.
Position Summary :
As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care by performing high-quality CT scans. The ideal candidate should be ARRT certified in CT and hold a valid Florida license. You will be responsible for operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records of procedures performed.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform CT scans on patients in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the scanning process.
Verify patient identity and confirm the appropriateness of the requested procedure.
Prepare and position patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure to them.
Operate and maintain CT equipment, including performing quality control checks.
Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, examination results, and radiation exposure.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to assess image quality and make necessary adjustments.
Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment.
Keep abreast of advancements in CT technology and best practices in radiologic imaging.
Qualifications :
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
Florida state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
Prior experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to float between clinic locations in Winter Haven, Davenport, and Lake Wales, Florida.
