Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, including but not limited to abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure, providing clear instructions and answering any questions they may have.
Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, maintaining the highest standard of image quality.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to interpret and report findings accurately.
Maintain accurate patient records, including ultrasound images and reports, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in ultrasound technology and radiology.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized ultrasound suite, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
Foster a positive and empathetic patient experience through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Perform ultrasound-guided procedures, if experienced and trained.
Qualifications:
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registration in abdomen and/or OB/GYN is required.
RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification is a plus.
Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
Proficiency in performing abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular ultrasound examinations.
