CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a Director of Proposal Development. The successful candidate will report to the VP, Business Development, and work closely with Vice Presidents and Directors across the company to track pipeline, plan resources, and lend expertise. Supports capture activities and gate reviews and manages the most strategic or complex proposals through daily management and writing / editing support. Manages, supervises, and supports senior proposal managers, compliance managers, and matrixed-in surge support by identifying resources and providing guidance. Proactively identifies risks and resolves content and compliance problems. Demonstrates expertise interviewing SMEs, preparing oral presentations, coaching writers and presenters, and supporting technical challenges. Serves as a process and project expert accountable for overall quality and compliance for 60-80 proposals per year maintaining a competitive win rate for recompetes and new business.

Core Competencies :
- Acts as volume lead on large proposals hosting virtual war rooms and writing sessions to resolve gaps, add proof points, strengthen verbiage, and add fine details.
- Manages, prioritizes effort, and tracks multiple proposals, responses to RFIs, white papers, and other related documents.
- Prepares weekly and monthly management reports and briefs C-Suite at monthly or quarterly meetings.
- Assists in budget development and tracks project spend.
- Leads the ongoing Proposal Toolbox project.
- Instructs or co-instructs internal CALU courses, including Style Guide and Proposal Management Overview, preparing staff to join a proposal team.
- Develops and delivers refresher training as needed.
- Leads updates to governing proposal processes.
- Serves as interviewee for proposal process during ISO surveillance and recertification audits.
