We are seeking a Patient Coordinator who is highly organized, customer-focused, and passionate about health and wellness to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient interactions, ensuring smooth front desk operations, and supporting both the administrative and clinical teams to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Assist Patients: Provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for all patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Manage Appointments: Schedule patient appointments, confirm appointments, and manage calendars for healthcare providers.
  • Handle Patient Inquiries: Answer calls and emails, address patient questions, and provide guidance regarding services.
  • Patient Records & Data Entry: Accurately enter and maintain patient information in the system, ensuring all records are up to date and compliant with privacy laws.
  • Billing & Insurance Support: Assist with insurance verification, billing inquiries, and processing patient payments.
  • Coordinate Office Operations: Help ensure the smooth operation of the front desk, manage patient flow, and maintain office supplies.
  • Promote Health and Wellness Services: Assist in educating patients about the clinic’s health and wellness offerings, and promote services/products as needed.
  • Confidentiality: Handle all patient information with the highest level of confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Sales Support: Help drive sales efforts by promoting wellness services, products, and packages to patients.
  • Assist the Doctor: Provide support to healthcare providers, including scheduling, managing patient follow-ups, and other administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Patient Coordinator, Front Desk Manager, or in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency: Knowledge of QuickBooks, Google Suite, and basic office software is required.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Sales Skills: Experience in sales or promotional activities is a plus, especially in a health and wellness context.
  • Knowledge of Health and Wellness: Familiarity with health, wellness, and medical services is beneficial.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a constantly evolving environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
