Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Outbound Fulfillment Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our order fulfillment and shipping processes. This role ensures all client orders are accurately processed, packed, and shipped on time, meeting company and customer expectations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in fulfillment operations, and the ability to drive efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Experience with eCommerce sales channels such as Shopify, Amazon, or similar platforms is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate outbound fulfillment operations to ensure all client orders are processed and shipped by the end of each day.
- Monitor order accuracy, packing standards, and shipping deadlines to maintain high service levels.
- Lead and train fulfillment team members, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Manage workflow and allocate resources to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to resolve order discrepancies and prevent shipping delays.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and shipping carrier requirements.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Track and report key fulfillment metrics, including order accuracy, processing time, shipping performance, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to orders, shipments, and customer inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized fulfillment area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Work closely with IT systems to ensure seamless integration between fulfillment processes and order management platforms.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred).
- 2 years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, logistics, or shipping operations.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of shipping carriers, order processing systems, and fulfillment best practices.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, or similar sales channels.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including warehouse management systems (WMS) and order management software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and move packages as needed (up to 50 lbs).
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak fulfillment periods.
