Responsibilities:
- Perform regular ServiceNow security patching and release upgrades.
- Maintain and enhance core ServiceNow platform functionality for tenants.
- Conduct scans and create documentation to support the Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) process.
- Develop, test, and deploy updates to ServiceNow based on customer requirements.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, including the rollout of new modules, user interface, and workflows.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow System Engineers and developers for solutions, updates, and configuration changes.
- Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Maintain and continuously improve processes, standards, policies, and tools.
- Ensure a reliable and reproducible development/production environment.
- Maintain configuration consistency across Development, Testing, Integration, and Production environments.
- Provide ongoing production and end-user support.
- Document testing and system maintenance.
- Research, develop, and integrate new technologies and standards as needed.
- Design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software.
- Participate in planning system deployments and ensuring compliance with software standards.
- Evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics.
- Track time worked and submit timesheets according to company policy.
- Submit regular status reports and monitor email communication, responding as needed.
- Complete required compliance training as assigned.
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience OR
- 16 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's or master's degree.
- Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience OR
- Certifications (Preferred at Start, Required within 6 Months):
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- AWS Cloud Certification
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow Development Platform (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery).
- Experience deploying, updating, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ELB, S3, EBS, RDS, KMS).
- Experience with AWS Lambda or equivalent serverless technologies.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
- Expertise in version control using Git.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies.
- Ability to write scripts in JavaScript, Bash, and Python for automation.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Database administration experience (Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with Kubernetes and container management.
- Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow Development Platform (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery).
