Essential Functions
- Drive and operate trucks.
- Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
- Travel between NYC and New Jersey 2-3 times per week, supporting multiple job sites.
- Pre-inspect truck.
- Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. Majority of loads are heavy equipment : boom lifts, telehandlers, trucks, containers.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
- When driving duties are complete, assist Yard Foreman with laboring duties around the warehouse / yard.
- Tool Repair a plus.
- CDL Class A preferred but not required. HOME DAILY!
