AutoCad Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in creating and maintaining detailed drawings and documentation for parts used in our projects. This position requires precision, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to support the engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for parts and components using AutoCAD.
• Review and update existing drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop technical drawings and resolve design challenges.
• Interpret technical specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce clear and accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, industry codes, and best practices.
• Organize and maintain drawing files, including revisions and archives.
• Assist in quality checks by verifying dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements.
• Provide support in generating bills of materials (BOM) and other associated documentation.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate degree or diploma in drafting, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an AutoCAD designer, preferably in parts or mechanical design.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ANSI, ISO).
• Experience working in Manufacturing is preferred.
