Looking for a RN in the Corpus Area (PRN) Home Health and Hospice.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various nursing practices. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting families during critical times.

Duties

• Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide care for patients in various settings, including ER, medical-surgical units, and primary care.
• Assist in sterile processing and maintain standards of infection control.
• Perform catheterization and suture wounds as necessary.
• Develop and implement discharge planning for patients transitioning from hospital to home or other facilities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records.

Experience

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in ER or toddler care is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and medical-surgical nursing practices.
• Familiarity with discharge planning processes is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
