The Exhibition Designer plays an integral role shaping visitor experience and supporting the museum’s mission through exhibition design. Collaborating with multiple departments, the Exhibit Designer helps develop, manage, and maintain the value of the visitor experience through environmental design and visual communication. Working with department leadership, the Exhibit Designer will be responsible for designing exhibitions, permanent collection installations, and way-finding signage from conceptualization and design through completion. They must work creatively to utilize 2-dimensional design work and processes to enhance 3-dimensional experiences. They must be able to create an engaging museum experience through innovative and relevant forms of presenting art, artifacts, media, and didactic information.
Salary Range : $28.50 - $31.50 Hourly
