JOB SUMMARY:
This position will serve as the single point of contact for customers. This individual will be responsible for connecting with customers to understand how to best match their needs, maintain, and build strong relationships. Responsible for all customer service duties from personal and business accounts, loans, and treasury management services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with obtaining new client loan packages and following up with clients for all required financial information related to loan renewals/annual reviews.
· Ability to work in SharePoint to enter new contacts/loans, upload financials and other items related to the loan process into SharePoint, track process of loan, including the ordering of appraisals as required.
· Access CASHTax/OnTrack to assist with keeping loan ticklers current.
· Establish all new accounts developed by the Relationship Managers as needed.
· Comply with all CIP requirements when establishing new accounts and loans and follow up with clients to obtain all missing documentation.
· Request business entity documentation for loan file; confirm all forms are completed and notarized before loan documents are requested - i.e., Trust Certifications-Multi-Purpose, Certification of Beneficial Owners, Personal and Business Information Profiles.
· Communicate with clients regarding financial requests, signing loan documents, payments, advances.
· Process Consumer Experian Report for new loans, renewals, and annual reviews.
· Process Military Lending Act (MLA) status for consumer loans.
· Complete Flood Certification for Real Estate Loans.
· Request VERACheck Report for Real Estate Loans and provide a copy to the assigned Underwriter/Relationship Manager.
· Work with the loan department in terms of obtaining/delivering documentation needed and maturing loan letters.
· Work with third party vendors – i.e., Open Title Orders / Escrow. Work with appraisers for any additional information requests they need from clients to complete loan files/documentation.
· Review Preliminary Report from title company – work with account officer on endorsements needed as well as prepare final lender’s instructions to title entity.
· Request Loan Demand payoffs from other financial institutions.
· Process UCC Transactions: pre/post search results, file new UCC’s as well as amendments to existing UCC’s.
· Review loan documents to make sure documents are in compliance with the required levels of loan approval.
· Meet with clients to sign loan documents when needed.
· Notarize bank loan documents.
· File Real Estate Tax Service for all new real estate loans.
· Request proof of insurance and confirm Bank of Southern California is the Certificate Holder - i.e., General Liability and Business Personal Property.
· Process Wire Transactions – i.e., confirm wire instructions, complete wire form, input wire and wire funds to title/ escrow and other financial institutions for loan payoff.
· Submit Invoices for payment and confirm funds are in our 3rd party GL before payments are sent to Finance Department – i.e., Appraisal, Appraisal Review and Title Policy invoices.
· Submit Loans for Boarding – complete all necessary forms and reports before loan is sent to the Loan Department for boarding (i.e., Loan File Review & Compliance Checklist, Final Closing Statement, New Loan Report and Exception Follow Up Log for recordable documents and final title policy).
· Ensure adherence to the reporting and recordkeeping requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering laws, OFAC, and CIP rules and regulations.
· Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures as they relate to all other regulatory compliance laws and regulations.
· Increase client profitability to the bank by identifying cross sell opportunities.
· Participate in client and business development calls with Relationship Managers.
· Handle complex or non-routine operational issues independently when possible, however engaging management as appropriate.
· Actively source depository and cash management opportunities in the marketplace and with existing customer base.
· Develop referral sources and business contacts within his/her community that will be profitable to the Bank. Understand and focus on the target markets clearly identified by the Bank

Education/Licenses/Work Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a minimum of three to five years financial services experience.
· Good knowledge of commercial credit policies and procedures, loan processing, and bank operations policies and procedures
